And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. (Genesis 9:12-13) KJV

An Important Message

GOD'S GIFT TO ALL MEN IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST

"THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT ETERNAL LIFE IS A FREE GIFT"

Romans 6:23b
"But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"

Who is this gift given to?

Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"

God warns us of the seriousness of our sin and that there is a penalty.

Romans 6:23
"The wages of sin is death"

God also warns that the penalty for sin cannot be removed by the good things that we do.

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast"

God has a provision and that provision is Christ.

1 Peter 2:24a
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:...."

The Bible tells us that.

1 John 1:7b
"...The blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin."

God's way to certain Eternal Life.

Romans 10:13
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

This call on the name of the Lord also involves repentance.

Luke 13:3
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish."

Christ illustrates what he wants to do in the heart and life of every person.

Revelation 3:20
"Behold I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come to him, and sup with him, and he with me."
